About Lex + Her Work

My Journey

My healing journey began in 2016 after experiencing years of deep depression. I was in a dark place. I felt like nothing was going well for me and began self-sabotaging many aspects of my life. I would push people away, act out of hate and fear, not take care of myself or my health, and only push myself further into depression. Looking back, I realize I was simply trying to feel something. I didn't know how to get out of the hole I was continuously digging myself deeper in. I had no sense of self, goals, dreams or purpose in life. I knew there was something better for me but had no idea how to access it.

After a long time of feeling hopeless, I entered an inpatient mental health treatment program, followed by years of therapy. This was the catalyst to my healing.

I began learning about mindfulness and meditation which became a pillar to my growth and healing. This snowballed into learning about a multitude of healing modalities including journaling, breathwork, manifestation, rewiring the subconscious mind and more. I was learning it all logistically but was stuck on actually implementing and embodying what I had learned.

Fast forward to 2020. The pandemic hit and I (along with the rest of the world) was in total isolation. Little did I know, this would dramatically speed to my healing. I spent day after day meditating, diving in and doing shadow work, journaling and learning witchcraft.  I was on a path of self-exploration and started really discovering who Lex is. I have continued to do so since then.

In 2022 my partner and I moved to Colorado. I knew a couple people here, but was deeply yearning for sisterhood. I stepped outside my comfort zone and attended my first women's circle. And then another, and another. I fell in love with the ability we have to hold space for one another to feel truly witnessed. I realized we can never have enough spaces like these, so I started holding my own.

I've been holding sacred spaces since.

Everyday I learn more about who I am. Everyday I try to grow into a better person than I was yesterday. I continue to invest in myself to learn more and continue to share the knowledge I've gained with others.

I can try to put labels on myself- I am a Reiki Healer, a Wild Womban, a Ceremonialist, a Sacred Space Holder... I am many things, but above all I am learning. I am growing. I am constantly changing and evolving, and I hope that we can do it together.

What is Integrative Health?

Integrative Health is complementary medicine that focuses on healing the whole person- mind, body and spirit.

Complementary means that it works together with conventional medicine. These tools get to integrate into how you already live and take care of yourself.

Integrative healing uses a variety of modalities to hold space for the whole person. Rather than just treating a symptom, Integrative Health aims to get to the

root of the problem and heal through addressing the mind, body and spirit.

Modalities I use:

  • Meditation

  • Sound healing

  • Aromatherapy

  • Journaling

  • Coaching

  • Crystals

  • Shamanic tools

  • Astrology

  • Plant medicine

  • Herbalism

What is Sacred Space?

Although I use the word “sacred”, it’s important to note that my work does not follow any specific religion.

I believe that sacred space simply means space that is safe and intentional.

This means that you can always expect the following in the spaces I hold:

  • Confidentiality: What you share will not be repeated elsewhere (unless there is a risk of safety)

  • Intentionality: I am fully present in the space. Everything we do, every modality used, is intentional in aiding in your journey.

  • Care: My heart is in this work. I truly care about each person that enters these sacred spaces and how I can support their journey

To sum it up, these sacred spaces are here for YOU. They are a refuge for you to process, play, and simply BE.
